Here you will find our routes and schedules for Direct Van within Europe. Both routes and frequency may differ from the following, as we continuously optimize the schedule based on bookings received on specific departures.
The below routes are the starting point for how we plan driving with Direct Van. The transit times are flexible as it depends on how much we have to deviate from the routes, to pick up and deliver shipments. We will jointly find the right departure for your shipment when you place your booking with us.
The United Kingdom to Spain and Portugal via France – and return
The route starts in the north of England, where we pick up all the way from the border to Scotland. From here it goes south with pickup throughout England east of Bristol and Southampton. We cross the English Channel and pick up and deliver in France, where the route can go via Paris as the easternmost point and or follow the west coast via Bordeaux to Spain. In Spain, we pick up and deliver everywhere west of the axis from Madrid to Cadiz, and throughout entire Portugal.
The route takes 3-4 days and is run twice a month, but the frequency can be increased as needed.
Denmark – Germany – Netherlands – the United Kingdom and return
The route starts at Sealand and runs approximately every 14 days. Pick-up and delivery take place along the route, which runs via Jutland to Northern Germany and on to the Netherlands, where we take the ferry from Hook of Holland to Harwich, and turn back when reaching London. We deviate from the route with up to 6 hours driving, and can thus pick up and deliver goods throughout Denmark and also drive all the way up to Birmingham or out to Bournemouth in England. Along the way, we can therefore also drive into Belgium, down to Brussels, as well as to Cologne, Hanover and Rostock in Germany.
Driving from Denmark to England usually takes 3-4 days, with pick-ups and deliveries on the way. The return route takes about the same time.
Denmark to Spain and return – through Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France
This route starts in Zealand and runs through Jutland, down through Germany via Hamburg and Cologne, to southern Holland and Belgium. It is possible to drive via Luxembourg before coming to France, where we drive south through Lyon and Montpellier. In Spain, we do deliveries and pick-ups all the way along the coast from Barcelona to the Costa del Sol.
The trip to Spain takes 4-5 days, after which we follow the same route back. The route runs approximately every 14 days.
Sweden non-stop to Spain and Portugal and return
This route consists of 2 express routes, which run directly from Sweden to Spain and Portugal respectively without stop through Europe. In Sweden, we pick up and deliver south of Gävle, Borlänge and Karlstad – if we need to go further north, however, this can be agreed directly with us. We then drive south, where the drivers deliver and pick up throughout Portugal and Spain, and end the route in Alicante and Algarve respectively, after which they return to Sweden.
The route takes on a few days, but with pick-up and delivery in such large areas, you should expect a total transit time of 5-7 days. The route is run every 14 days.
